Facebook Fail!

facebook fail!

For close to a week now, I keep going to my Facebook profile, only to be greeted by text saying “The page you requested was not found. You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive.”

Seriously?

For a week now, people have been complaining on the Facebook site. Half of the time, when you try to even report the error, the page times out. Good luck finding a direct email address to contact Facebook on their site. There isn’t one.

There’s no feedback from Facebook at all on this matter on their site, other than a post days ago saying there was a small database bug. Squash the damn bug already. One would think that you have to be employing enough people in your company that it should not take a WEEK to fix a “small database” bug.

I even tried the email addresses I have for Facebook through some clients. Five days. No reply.

UPDATE: October 10th - The profile is now online again, but trying to log into the site in general seems to take three or four attempts. The page either times out, or says my password is not right. And forget about actually having the “remember me” box actually work. Someone at Facebook needs to learn how to program a cookie.

“Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life”…eventually. :P
