Tracking…
posted: November 4, 2008

Coming in April...

FedEx. FedEx is a good shipping company. On time, speedy, and they have GREAT tracking. You type a number, and BAM. You know where your package is.

UPS. Decent company. A bit slow, and questionable tracking. Case in point: I just bought a DVCR off of eBay. I had the guy ship the DVCR via UPS Ground. I tracked the package. For 22 hours, I tracked the package as it sat in Vernon, California. I guess it liked the city. Then, when I checked the tracking number the next day, the package had already been delivered!?! Sure enough, I open the door, and my expensive DVCR is just sitting outside my door. The delivery dude never knocked! Stealth UPS! There’s a sign on my door, telling all delivery people to ring the bell on the door. Nope. Nothing. Side note: I was sitting 6 feet from the door! This guy managed to open my screen door, set down the box, and leave, unheard! This guy needs to quit UPS, and become a spy!

USPS. I had no idea they even had a tracking system. After reading the confusing as fuck screen above, I’m still not sure whether or not the USPS has the ability to track a package. They’ve proved their reputation as a company that can deliver a mutilated package, lose packages, and - more recently - NOT delivering my girlfriend’s voting info (!!!), but this “tracking system” (sorry - when it actually tells me something, I will remove the quotes) SUCKS ASS!

The United States Postal Service. Gotta love ‘em!
