Mixes - DJ Sets

August 28th, 1997. I made two twenty minute DJ mix sets for a KROQ-FM DJ party show they had called "Digital Underground". I handed in the mixes and waited. And waited. And waited some more.

Eight weeks later, I finally got a reply from KROQ: "Oh, we are canceling that show. We won't be needing your mixes."

Those mixes have sat on a DAT tape ever since...until now.

Enjoy a snapshot into 1997 dance music, including a bit of a mix I had already done previously for Groove Radio (I got lazy and copy and pasted a few minutes of another mix).

I joined the two mixes together for this upload. Enjoy!
