DESCRIPTION:
This is the second time I've used a song by MFSB. The first time was one of my favorite mashups, Huey Lewis vs MFSB - "The Power Of Love".

I've tried to do a mix with this song for a few years now. I always liked the song, but found that trying to mix it with other songs just never sounded right.

In a late night mix session, I had started working on another mash, and found myself coming back to this song. I was determined to find something that would bring out the soul in the song.

I literally sorted iTunes by BPM, and started going through my AIFF CD rips.

Bam! MFSB!

This mix would not have been possible, AT ALL, without the Melodyne software. Simple "pitching" in any other app just would not have been enough.

70s soul. Strings. The Philly Sound.

OK. Now I'm happy.
