DESCRIPTION:
I did this mix over eight months ago. I have been sitting on it, trying to come up with a music video to go with the mix, that matched the mood. Why take so long? The mix forced me to. When you listen to this, the cinematic level you get lifted to had to have imagery that matched the song, and I didn't want to become victim once again to one of these idiots who takes my mashups, makes a video for the mash (without asking), and uploads it on YouTube. You have no idea how annoying it is to see a really crap video, with your mix as the soundtrack, no credit for the mix, and people leaving positive mix comments for the video uploader. Ugh...but I digress...

For those of you who don't know, the visuals are re-edited from the movie "American Beauty". After searching Google for months for movie plots that would fit the lyrics and mood of this mashup, I finally stumbled on "American Beauty". I actually re-edited "Pretty In Pink" a day before this, but it just wasn't dark enough. Watching Duckie do his Otis Redding dance to this mashup was fun, though. :)

I have friends of mine who don't like the Eagles, but love this mix. I love when I can get someone to enjoy a song they wouldn't listen to.

Hands down, this is one of the best mixes that I have on this site. I put a lot of work into this mix. I hope you all enjoy it.
