Oh man...I really did it. I was told by every Foo Fighters fan I knew not to mess with Everlong...and I still did it.

I am a fan of Foo Fighters. I have a deep appreciation for what they do, not only for the music they release, but also their other projects (Sonic Highways, Sound City, et cetera).

But...yeah. I messed with Everlong. Sorry.

The mix does come from the heart though, as all of my little mashup creations do. I like to take a song, match it with something completely different, and make something (hopefully) cool and new. Unlike some others in the mashup "scene", my goal isn't to expose how similar and bland music has become. My goal is to create something that can stand next to the original records, without pissing off too many fans. :)

But...yeah. I messed with Everlong. Sorry.

The video was a struggle. There were a number of deep love stories I could have used, which would have fit with the album version of Everlong, but with the Beastie Boys music, everything I was trying just felt weird. Then I decided to do love, but with comedy. Enter Leslie Nielsen. I even added a Zucker-esque ending credit roll. :)

But...yeah. I messed with Everlong. Sorry.
