I really don't know where to start on this mix.

How does one go from Herb Alpert to Sex Pistols?

I could cite how Sex Pistols were actually on A&M Records...for a week (Herb is the "A" in the A&M label name, FYI). That, though, wouldn't be the reason I did this mix. Honestly, I just made the Sex Pistols acapella, noticed the BPM, and wondered what the hell I could find that was that fast. iTunes showed me all the songs of that BPM, and my eyes nearly bulged out of my skull when I saw Herb in the list.

I had to make this work.

Honestly, this was one of the quickest and easiest mashups I've ever made. It helps that Johnny is screaming more than singing. Hard to have a key clash. ;)

When I put Suicidal Tendencies screaming about wanting a Pepsi over Carpenters, people loved it. Think of this as a sequel. Another punk complaining over mellow beats.

This could be a new genre. Mellow Punk. Oh man...don't get me started! :)
